"Angry/skinny" beats "angry/fat"
You're angry? Depressed? Go ahead and feel that way; sometimes it's unavoidable.
Just don't self-medicate your pain with food and alcohol binges. They'll just make it worse, because tomorrow you'll wake up fatter, and with a headache to boot. Now that's depressing!
Stay a little hungry, out of sheer defiance to your emotions. You may still be depressed and angry tomorrow....but at least you'll be thinner. That's a very positive step toward emotional control and higher self esteem, which is what you need most at times like these.
I'll take "angry/depressed and thinner" over "angry/depressed and fatter" any day.
